This weekend marks the much anticipated Chicago music festival, Lollapalooza, and most likely you have already pre-ordered your passes, got a group of friends together, and have an idea of which band or musician you MUST see. If you are stuck on drawing inspiration on what to wear, we are here to help! Today, music festivals aren’t just about the music; they are becoming more known for their street style, fashion and the importance of “who is wearing what.” There are times when music festival-wear can seem unoriginal, redundant or a little too “flower-crowny” or “rave-y.” I have teamed up with Lollapalooza’s very own pop-up shop, “LollaShop” to bring together looks that people of different tastes and styles can relate to. Below are looks that I have personally pulled which range from different spectrums such as super chic, free-spirited, edgy, or polished. One thing they all have in common are the importance of accessories and being super functional.
Whether you are a die-hard music fanatic or just along for the ride, one thing you need is the perfect outfit, so be sure to stop at LollaShop. The store is located right in the heart of The Loop at Block 37 (108 S. Street) and will be open for normal retail hours every day during the week, and extended hours during the festival. With great pieces from local vendors such as Bucketfeet, Casual Friday, Pine and Plastic and many more, you wouldn’t want to miss this one-stop shop to pull together your Lollapalooza look! The full “Lolla Loves Chicago” collection will be sold in store to celebrate Lollapaloozas’s 10 year anniversary, and will also be featured online at store.lollapalooza.com. Each day there will special offers and appearances from local celebrities, and is open to both ticket and non-ticket holders. Send us what you are wearing, by following us on social media, @Lollapalooza, and hashtagging a photo of your outfit with the hashtags, #LollaShop and #Lollapalooza!
