With only a few days ahead, we’re coming close to Dad’s special day. It’s only been a year since my husband has become a father and now my efforts for choosing father’s day presents have been simpler, given how much better I know him than my own father! I have always found it hard picking out something for my father, simply because he’s pretty set in his style and it’s always been a challenge to persuade him with other ways. I’ve asked a Stylists working at Burberry, a mens style blogger (Jason Pullan), a tech expert on Fashion and a chef on their opinion on what dad might like and they’ve sent me a fool proof list that they’ve all agreed on, that I’m sharing with you. Enjoy and Happy Father’s Day everyone!!
Game-day tickets. Do you have a father who’s dedicated to the White Sox or the Cubs? How about a pair of tickets for just the two of you to spend quality time together?
A Fashionable backpack. Ask him gently to ditch the fanny pack or his grandfather’s holdall for something that combines fun and sophistication. Here are some modern, classic, hip or contemporary options:
Stylish sunglasses. Upgrade from the $10 sunglasses he bought at Wrigley Field for some classic shades such as the following three:
Gift sets are always nice and received with pleasure! Baxter of California or Malin and Goetz gift set. Get Dad to stop using foam out of a can and a rusted razor!
A bluetooth speaker. Dad still thinks it’s cool that he can plug his phone into the surround sound system from college!
A beer home brewing starter kit. Nothing is more rewarding than home brewed beer. Get dad into a hobby that everyone can enjoy!
A luxurious bathrobe. What, a bathrobe? You’d be surprised my friend. Dads deserve to feel pampered too this Father’s Day!
A sophisticated 24 Hour watch that’s witty and different.. and works perfectly for his international travels! Suits both older and younger dad’s, it’s the new Swiss made ‘it’ accessory that celebrities are seen wearing by slow watches.
