We’re very excited at TCC to partner with Perry Ellis to showcase a few pieces from their Spring/Summer ’15 runway collection. After a three-year hiatus at NYFW, Perry Ellis has finally risen again, this time under the creative direction of an incredibly talented man named Michael Maccari. For this collection, he drew inspiration from the work of artist Sean Scully and reflective grid details of the Manhattan skyline. What I appreciated most from the collection was the fresh play on patterns, bold colors, technical fabrics, and tailored suiting…making Perry Ellis a strong contender in the menswear world once again!
To explore the many facets of the Perry Ellis man, I was asked the question “How do you Very Perry?” My answer…Distinctly. To create a distinct look, I’m featuring their bold cricket sweater to create an outfit made for a guy who wants to look distinguished on a brisk spring day. I’m not much of a cricket player myself, but to be honest, this modern rendition looks just as good (if not better) off the field. I’ve paired it with some slim white denim, chocolate brown loafers, and mirrored lenses to make the bold red collar pop.
Their Spring ’15 runway collection will be available at select Macy’s locations throughout April. Get this look at Macy’s – State Street or perryellis.com and be sure and sign up for their mailing list to be the first to know about new arrivals.
