I’m a big fan of summery cocktails, especially ones that have a lot of fruit, flavor and character. Tequila is a popular cocktail choice but hasn’t been my favorite in general due to its strength. I searched for the purest, finest kind and came across this brand, which changed my mind about the spirit. I sat down and chatted with the Casamigos Blanco Tequila experts who walked us through the process used to make tequila, how it’s used and the best way to use it for cocktails. If you don’t already know this, Casamigos Blanco is currently a popular Tequila due the quality and purity- currently, the fastest growing Tequila brand by far. Resting the tequila for 2 months, it gives the beverage crispy, clean hints of citrus, vanilla and sweet agave, with a long smooth finish. This tequila was created by by George Clooney & Rande Gerber, in the hunt for something remarkably good. While developing the product, they were quite particular about the source from which they derive the Blue Weber Agave, specialty yeast and distilling process- hence making it easy for people like me to enjoy it, without the need for salt or lime!
